Great Strides In 10 Years

THE Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC) marked its 10th anniversary at its campus in Ikram Park, Kajang, Selangor, on Jan 31.

The event was launched by Higher Education Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Dr Adham Baba and witnessed by KLIUC president Prof Datuk Wira Dr Mohammad Noor Haji. Salleh.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to staff members who had served since Jan 12, 1998.
Guests were also entertained to performances by KLIUC's local and international students.
KLIUC plans to introduce more programmes such as Architecture, Quantity Survey, Applied Science & Technology, Entrepreneurship, Optometry and Foreign Language Studies.

Most of the programmes are accredited and approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), formerly known as the National Accreditation Board (LAN).
In his speech, Prof Mohammad Noor said: “Today, our graduates are working with both the government and private corporations, such as the Public Works Department, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), Telekom Malaysia Bhd, IJM Corporation Bhd, The People’s Bank of China, Measat Satellite System Sdn Bhd, and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (Cima).”
